Samir Geagea, leader of the powerful Christian Lebanese party Lebanese Forces, congratulated Donald Trump today (Wednesday) for winning reelection.

Geagea, who has condemned Hezbollah for starting a war with the IDF while standing on the side of Lebanon in the fight, said that "I congratulate President Donald Trump for his victory in the elections. I believe American support for Lebanon, its legal institutions, its sovereignty, and its independence, will continue."

In a recorded speech broadcast earlier today, Hezbollah leader Naim Qassem said that it does not matter who won the election - Trump or Harris - and he expressed zero confidence in the United States' ability to bring about a negotiated ceasefire in the war between the terrorist organization and the IDF.
