The United States and Israel are pinning their hopes on a ceasefire deal reached with Hezbollah within the next few weeks, one which ensures Israeli security and the safe return of northern residents to their homes. But what if Hezbollah refuses?

According to sources speaking to N12 News, the IDF has plans on the books for a continued offensive if that happens, since it believes it has completed most or almost all its objectives along the border.

Per the plans, the IDF will advance to the "second line" of villages over the border and give it the same treatment given to the first line - systematic demolition of all terrorist infrastructures, including weapons, tunnels, and military structures. The IDF will also broaden the scope of its attacks in Lebanon in general.

Meantime, the IDF has allowed the country's infrastructure companies to come to the north to start repairing the civilian infrastructure (roads, electric lines, water lines) to ensure the safe return of northern residents.
