In preparation for what is increasingly seen as an inevitable Iranian attack on Israel, IDF Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi met today (Sunday) with CENTCOM Commander General Michael Kurilla.

The two conducted a situational assessment regarding shared security issues and regional prepararedness, with an emphasis on the threat from Iran and its proxies.

General Kurilla reportedly visited the American THAAD missile defense battery deployed in Israel as part of the preparations for defending Israel against Iranian agression.

B-52 strategic fortresses have reportedly arrived in CENTCOM's area of responsibility, likely as part of the US force projection in the face of Iranian threats.

The United States has reportedly told Iran via Switzerland that it will not be able to restrain Israel after a third attack and that the IDF may strike all sorts of sites it avoided before at President Biden's request.
