The IDF says that it has significantly degraded Hezbollah's drone capacity, damaging 70% of their drones, destroying 8 drone workshops as well as 7 drone warehouses, according to Walla News. It also eliminated the drone unit commander and put a tenth of the unit out of action.
Alongside rocket barrages and missile attacks, drone attacks have emerged to become a serious threat to Israeli security. Although some 80% of the 1,300 Hezbollah drones launched at Israel were intercepted by Israeli air defenses, some of those which broke through caused serious damage or concern.
These include the drone which hit Prime Minister Netanyahu's Caesaria residents and the drone attack on the Golani base which injured a number of soldiers.
Meanwhile, the IDF continues to attack fuel and weapons sites belonging to Hezbollah, both within Lebanon and in Syria, where Iranian and Hezbollah logistics officers work to smuggle in more weapons and war materiel into Lebanon for the terrorist group's use.
