Dr. Assaf Regev, an expert in Islam and the Middle East, a modern researcher at Ben Gurion University and the Givat Haviva Institute, describes the chaos within the terrorist organization Hezbollah following the assassination of Hassan Nasrallah.

In an interview with Radio 104.5, Regev said: "Hezbollah is an organization that has existed in Israel for decades, and the successes, as great as they are, do not happen in a month; there is a massive infrastructure there." Hezbollah built 'Hezbollahistan in Lebanon', a state of terror in every sense of the term, in Upper Lebanon and especially in Lower Lebanon. This infrastructure must be eradicated, layer by layer, step by step, tunnel by tunnel - this is the reality.

According to him: "Since Nasrallah's assassination, there has been no single voice in Hezbollah." He was a megalomaniac, a control freak, in fact, he was the face of Lebanon and certainly of the Hezbollah organization. After Nasrallah's departure and the high command echelon, voices are starting to be heard here and there. There are still voices in the organization that link the situation in Gaza to the issue of the hostages. There are those who try to separate the two.
