Three combat teams from the Givati, 460th, and the 401st Brigades have been operating in the past few weeks in the Gaza City neighborhood of Jebaliya, eliminating multiple terrorists, seizing weapons caches, and destroying tunnel infrastructure and rocket launchers.
The forces also brought multiple terror suspects for interrogation, especially from the Kamal Adwan hospital where multiple Hamas and other terrorists were said to be hiding.
A battalion commander in the Givati combat team, Lt.-Col. Shmuel, said that his forces would be there as much as needed, and that they engaged in "significant" evacuation of the population before returning to hunting terrorists later today.
