35 terrorists detained since start of holiday in Judea and Samaria, IDF confirms

Security forces arrest wanted Palestinians and dismantle terror networks during holiday raids across the region.

So far, during the holiday of Sukkot, more than 35 wanted people have been arrested in Judea and Samaria and a large number of weapons have been confiscated.

IDF, Shin Bet and Border Police forces are currently operating in a brigade operation to arrest terrorists and thwart terrorist infrastructure in Deir Abu Mash'al in the Ephraim Brigade. During the night, the forces operated in each of the Judea and Samaria brigades and detained 15 wanted people.

During the holiday, Israeli security forces operated in Judea and Samaria and in the Jordan Valley Brigade, detaining 23 wanted Palestinians and confiscating large quantities of weapons.

In Jenin in the Menashe Brigade, a covert force of the Judea and Samaria Border Police, in cooperation with the IDF and under the precise intelligence guidance of the Shin Bet, raided the vehicle of a wanted man armed with a pistol in broad daylight. The detainee and the gun he was armed with were transferred to the Shin Bet for further interrogation.
