Harris campaign denies VP supports Israel "genocide" claim

The denial comes after a social media uproar following footage showing the Democratic candidate allegedly supporting the claim.

Kamala Harris' campaign said that the Vice President "did not and does not agree" with the claim that Israel is committing genocide in Gaza, according to the Times of Israel.

While giving a campaign speech in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Vice President Kamala Harris was heckled by a pro-Palestinian protestor asking her about the "billions" going to fund a "genocide" in Gaza.

At first, Harris repeatedly reminded the protestor that "I'm speaking now" and said "I want the ceasefire, I want the war to end."

But after the heckler was removed, she said "Listen, what he’s talking about...It’s real. That’s not the subject that I came to discuss today, but it’s real and I respect his voice."
