As the IDF strikes branches of Hezbollah-affiliated financial institutions across Lebanon tonight (Sunday), Maariv reports that Hezbollah faces an "unprecedented" financial crisis.

According to Maariv, quoting Voice of America, Hezbollah receives its money from three main sources - al-Qard al-Hassan, a quasi-banking institution owned by Hezbollah, recognized and legal banks within Lebanon, and direct cash infusions from Iran.

Sources speaking to VOA said that Hezbollah is suffering from a serious cash crunch, to the point that they cannot feed families. Iran is also reportedly avoiding sending cash to Lebanon for fear of it being shot down or blown up by the IDF. Billionaires, moreover, are fleeing the country along with their wealth, weakening the Lebanese economy generally and Hezbollah resources specifically.
