On Sunday, an additional reserve brigade will be deployed to southern Lebanon to finish clearing villages and fortified zones where Hezbollah’s Radwan force had established logistical infrastructure and bases for potential infiltration into Israel.

IDF forces from the 146th, 91st, 36th and 98th Divisions are working to destroy terrorist infrastructure belonging to the Hezbollah terrorist organization, eliminating terrorists and confiscating weapons found. In various encounters, Golani fighters and Egoz Unit fighters eliminated terrorists in hand-to-hand combat and in cooperation with the Air Force.

According to a senior military official, every house in the village found to contain weapons, either inside or hidden beneath, will be destroyed. This operation is expected to leave significant destruction in the Shiite villages near the border, as the IDF works to dismantle Hezbollah's strongholds.

The Air Force, under the direction of the Northern Command, attacked and eliminated more than 65 Hezbollah terrorists in southern Lebanon and attacked dozens of Hezbollah terrorist targets, including terrorist squads, launchers aimed at Israeli territory and military buildings.

In the Gaza Strip, fighters from the 162nd and 252nd Divisions continue their operations in the northern, central and southern Gaza Strip. The forces eliminated dozens of terrorists in hand-to-hand and aerial battles, destroyed many terrorist infrastructures and confiscated large quantities of weapons.

In the southern Gaza Strip, the fighters identified a terrorist squad operating in the area of the forces, and the fighters eliminated the terrorists in hand-to-hand combat and in cooperation with the Air Force.
