Ofri Bibas, the sister of Yarden Bibas who is celebrating his 35th birthday today while being held captive by Hamas, reveals that the family has received several indications in recent months that Yarden is alive. However, she clarified that they have no indication regarding the condition of her husband Shiri and their two children Ariel and Kfir.

In an interview with Channel 12 News, the sister said: "We have received indications in the past six months that Jordan is alive." About Shiri and the children, we haven't heard a word.

Let us remind you that Edina Moshe, who was released from Hamas captivity as part of the first hostage deal, told Ilana Dayan on Galei Tzahal that while she was held in a tunnel, she noticed hostages being held in tunnels. Since she heard Hebrew, she approached them and discovered that they were Yarden Bibas and Ofer Calderon from Nir Oz.

Moshe recounts: "I approached them and it was completely dark, I asked them: 'Why are you in the pen?' They answered that they don't know, when I asked if they confronted Hamas, they answered yes.

Moshe added: "After two days, I approached the commander who was guarding us, told him 'they are from Nir Oz' and asked him to bring them to us. After two days, he brought them to us for an hour and then returned them to the enclosure. The next day, he brought them to us again for two hours."

Diane asked Moshe if Yarden Bibas knew about the kidnapping of his wife and sons. Moshe replied: "He told us he was the one who went from the safe room to the Hamas militants, and Shiri and the children stayed in the safe room." He added: "I really hope they didn't get to them because all the terrorists who were in my house caught me and led me to a meeting place in the kibbutz and from there to Khan Younis."
