Alongside ground maneuvers, the IDF continues to pummel Hezbollah targets from the air. A fresh round of strikes was launched against Hezbollah sites in the Dahiyeh suburb of Beirut tonight (Saturday) causing major explosions that lit up the sky:
Meanwhile, IDF Spokesperson Daniel Hagari provided an update today regarding continued ground operations against Hezbollah in Lebanon.
Hagari said that the IDF successfully eliminated some 440 terrorists thus far, including 30 commanders. Hagari also said that the IDF located multiple terrorist infrastructures used by Hezbollah, including a terror tunnel hundreds of meters long.
Meanwhile, around 800 rockets and drones were fired on Israeli targets throughout Rosh Hashanah and Shabbat. No serious injuries were incurred.
The IDF has meantime lifted Rear Command restrictions for movement and assembly in the center of the country south of Haifa, a sign that the IDF does not believe it is immediately in danger from any of Iran's proxies.
