Following the situation assessment after the Iranian attack, Chief of Staff Herzl Halevi stated that Israel will choose when to exact the price: "We will demonstrate our surprising strike capabilities."

The Chief of Staff, Lieutenant General Herzl Halevi, held an assessment this evening (Tuesday) after the extensive Iranian assault on Israel. At the conclusion of the assessment, he remarked: "We have proven our ability to prevent the enemy from achieving success, combining exemplary civilian behavior with a very strong air defense system." Halevi added, "We will choose when to exact the price and demonstrate our precise and surprising strike capabilities, in accordance with the directives of the political leadership."

Meanwhile, an IDF spokesperson announced that the IDF will strike forcefully throughout the Middle East tonight. "Iran has committed a serious act, and there will be consequences."

Brigadier General Haggai added that there was no impact on the Air Force's readiness and that it continues to operate at full capacity, also planning to conduct powerful strikes in the Middle East tonight, as it has been doing all year. Haggai noted that throughout the attack, Israeli and U.S. defense systems operated effectively in close cooperation for detection and interception.

In total, approximately 180 ballistic missiles were fired at Israel this evening, and around 1,864 alarms were sounded across the country. Two individuals were lightly injured by shrapnel in the Tel Aviv area.
