A short time ago, the IDF announced the mobilization of four additional brigades suggesting a potential rise in combat intensity in the North soon after forces have just entered. Israel estimates that the ground operations in Lebanon that began last night (between Monday and Tuesday) will last several weeks, according to conversations between Israeli officials and their American counterparts in recent days.

Earlier today, the White House announced its stand on Israel's side, saying that "we support Israel's right to defend itself against Hezbollah."

It was also revealed that since the beginning of the Iron Swords War on the seventh of October, dozens of targeted operational actions were carried out in southern Lebanon.

According to a statement from the IDF spokesman, the forces have been operating in Lebanon in recent months to neutralize and destroy Hezbollah's combat facilities and weapons. The fighters carried out raids, broke underground hatches at targets along the border, uncovered weapons caches and gathered intelligence. There were underground infrastructures and advanced weapons made in Iran.
