IDF Spox: We do not see an Iranian attack on us, we're ready for it if it happens

IDF Spokesperson Daniel Hagari said that despite a warning from the United States, the IDF does not currently identify a threat launched from Iran.

Following reports of an American warning regarding an imminent Iranian strike on Israel, IDF Spokesperson Daniel Hagari gave a statement to the public a short time ago today (Tuesday), where he said the IDF does not currently identify an aerial threat launched from Iran.

Hagari also said that the IDF is at peak readiness and that the aerial defense systems are prepared to repel any threats to Israel. However, he did reiterate that Israel's defenses are not airtight and therefore asked Israeli citizens to continue to be alert and be careful.

With the expansion of Hezbollah's missile range to Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, the IDF Rear Command introduced restrictions today in the country's main metro areas.

Assemblies and gatherings are now restricted from the Carmel to the Dan Bloc, Jerusalem, and the Judean lowlands.

Educational activity can only take place where students can safely reach a shelter in time.

Assembly restrictions are now similar to those in some parts of the north - 30 people outside and 300 people inside.

People can work where there is a nearby shelter to run to in case of a siren.
