Drone barrage hits Israel’s eastern border

Alarms sound in Beit She'an, Jordan Valley, and Sea of Galilee as drones approach from Iraq.

A significant barrage of drones towards Israel from the east caused alarms to sound this evening (Sunday) in many communities in the Beit She'an Valley, the Jordan Valley and the Sea of Galilee area.

According to Arab reports, pro-Iranian militias in Iraq claimed responsibility for launching a swarm of UAVs towards Israel.

An IDF spokesperson said: "Alerts have been activated in a number of areas in the Beit Shean Valley and the southern Golan, the details are under investigation."

The war between Israel and Hezbollah reached a new stage tonight. The terrorist organization fired dozens of missiles at communities such as Afula, Yokneam and other cities in the north that until now had not been within firing range.

The shooting came after Hezbollah officially confirmed the killing of Ibrahim Aqil, head of Hezbollah's operations division, in an IDF strike in Beirut's Dahiya district on Friday afternoon. In addition, it appears that most of the Radwan force's chain of command was also eliminated in the attack.
