After Night of Strikes: Hezbollah Announces Additional Casualties

After the IDF's exceptional strikes across Lebanon, Hezbollah announced that Yusuf Muhammad al-Sayed and Muhammad Hassan al-Zain were killed in southern Lebanon. In total, the official death toll of the terrorist organization has risen to 480 people since the beginning of the war.

Following the IDF's exceptional strikes across Lebanon, Hezbollah announced this morning (Friday) another casualty from its ranks: Yusuf Muhammad al-Sayed, a resident of Beit Lif in southern Lebanon. About an hour later, the terrorist organization also announced the death of Muhammad Hassan al-Zain, a resident of southern Lebanon. This brings the official death toll of Hezbollah to 480 people since the beginning of the war, but Israel estimates that the true number of casualties in the terrorist organization is higher.

As a reminder, last night Hezbollah began to acknowledge the extent of damage caused by the electronic attack that detonated the organization's communication devices and pagers (beepers), claiming that almost 40 terrorists were eliminated in the last two days. According to statements from sources within the organization, despite the fact that over the past two days hundreds of Hezbollah terrorists' communication devices and pagers exploded simultaneously, injuring thousands of terrorists, the organization has so far distorted the casualty data resulting from the event.

Most reports told of the deaths of only a few individuals the day before yesterday and the day before that, with attempts even made to present the event as harm to civilian lives. However, yesterday the terrorist organization began for the first time to publish names of casualties from its ranks over the last two days, and the initial numbers, which are expected to grow, report at least 37 casualties so far that the organization allows to be reported.
