Arabic "A-Sharq Al-Awsat" newspaper, published in London, reports that in Yemen there is growing fear of an Israeli attack that might come in response to the Houthis' fire towards Israel. According to the report on the ynet website, one of the growing concerns in Yemen is that Israel will decide to strike the port of Hodeidah again – just two months after it was attacked in response to a UAV that hit Tel Aviv at the time.

The report also reveals that a government source in Yemen expressed concern that Israel's expected response, whose scope and targets are unclear, could worsen the humanitarian crisis in Yemen. Additionally, sources in the country warned that the port of Hodeidah would not withstand another attack.

Abdul Rahman, who works at the port of Hodeidah, told the newspaper that any additional attack on it would render it completely unusable. Currently, according to him, the port of Hodeidah operates in a very basic manner. Aid organizations also warned of an attack on the port of Hodeidah, which "would be a disaster for the population in areas under Houthi control," in their words.
