In the last few weeks, brigade level combat teams of the Nachal, Givati, 401st Brigades as well as the Yahalom combat engineering team and the elite Shayetet 13 unit have been fighting in the Tel Sultan neighborhood.

IDF forces also destroyed 80% of the underground tunnels discovered near and under the Philadelphi Corridor. The IDF said that combat engineering forces of the 162nd Division were continuing to locate and destroy tunnels and terror infrastructures throughout the area.
