The IDF and Shin Bet just announced (Tuesday) that it identified and eliminated the battalion commander and three company commanders of Hamas' Tel Sultan Battalion from the air.
The IDF said that Mahmoud Hamdan, commander of the Tel Sultan Battalion, played a significant role in preparing October 7 and planning the defense of Rafah before the IDF's entry into the city.
The IDF said that in this and other strikes, dozens of terrorists have been killed along with the commanders of the unit.
