A leaked document, partially published by the Hebrew newspaper *Yediot Acharonot*, reveals that Hersh Goldberg-Polin, Carmel Gat, and Eden Yerushalmi were slated for release in the initial phase of a potential ceasefire and hostage agreement with Hamas.
According to YWN news reports, the document also shows modifications to Israel’s original hostage-ceasefire proposal from May, as requested by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu after Hamas accepted most terms. According to unnamed Israeli sources, these changes hindered the deal's chances of success.
Tragically, on Sunday it was revealed that six hostages, including the three listed in the Annex 2 agreement of Humanitarian hostages were murdered and their bodies were brought back to Israel after being found executed by Hamas in a tunnel under Gaza.
