Netanyahu family of murdered hostage: I am sorry and ask forgiveness for not bringing him back alive

Following withering criticism for failing to address the murder of six hostages before they could be rescued, Prime Minister Netanyahu is now speaking to each family individually.

A short time ago (Sunday), Prime Minister Netanyahu spoke on the phone with the father of Alexander Lobanov, one of the six hostages murdered in Rafah before the IDF could rescue them.

The Prime Minister said that he was calling to apologize and ask for forgiveness for failing to being him back alive. Netanyahu plans to speak to the families of the other hostages soon.'

Earlier today, the Prime Minister had released a statement saying that Israel would hunt down all those responsible for acts like the killing of the hostages, and that he was insistent on a deal that both freed the hostages and ensured Israeli security and its existence.
