A recent poll by the Misgav Institute conducted by Professor Gabi Siboni and Professor Kobi Michael and released today (Thursday) shows IDF reservists believe the army can win the war but don't believe the high command can be trusted.

According to the poll, just 20% of reservists have high or very high trust in IDF Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi, while 58% have low or very low confidence in him.

The picture is even bleaker when it comes to the IDF's General staff: 60% have low or very low trust in them, while just 16% have high or very high trust in them.

When it comes to how IDF leadership is running the war, just 18% are satisfied or very satisfied, while fully 80% are not so satisfied or not satisfied at all.

Meanwhile, some 70% have faith in the lower level field commanders, as opposed to just 7% who don't have faith in them.

Faith in the IDF's ability to defeat Hamas and Hezbollah remain high, with 77% and 59% respectively having high or very high confidence in the IDF's ability to defeat Hamas and Hezbollah.
