American officials told the Wall Street Journal that there are no plans to change America's robust deployment in the Middle East, aimed at deterring Iran from attacking Israel, despite their assessment that Iran is not planning on an imminent attack at present.

US sources also said that Israel's preemptive strike on Hezbollah's planned missile and drone attack also helped prevent a possible escalation in the region, including an Iranian attack.
