Conclusion to Hezbollah war, Nasrallah threats over

Nasrallah stepping down: The response to the assassination of Shukr is over

Following the Israeli pre-emptive strike and the exchange of blows in southern Lebanon, Nasrallah announces, in what seems to be a retreat by the leader of the terror organization, that from his perspective, the response to the assassination of the terror  organization's Chief of Staff has concluded.

After the blow dealt by Israel this morning to southern Lebanon and Hezbollah launchers, it seems Nasrallah received one hit too many and announced in his speech that the launches carried out in the morning hours towards Israel conclude the response to the assassination of Hezbollah’s Chief of Staff 40 days ago.

Hassan Nasrallah, Secretary-General of the terror organization Hezbollah, delivered a speech following the morning's events and the Israeli Air Force strikes early in the morning in southern Lebanon. In his speech, Nasrallah provided numerous explanations for why the terror organization took so long to respond to the assassination of Fuad Shukr in the heart of Lebanon. Among Nasrallah's explanations were claims of "coordination with the Axis of Resistance" and also the assertion that the very delay itself was a "punishment" for Israel.

Now, after more than a month of waiting and preparing to respond to the assassination of one of Hezbollah's senior figures, Nasrallah announced in his speech that, following the exchange of fire between Hezbollah and the IDF this morning, the organization is ready to "close" the event of the response to the assassination of Shukr. Nasrallah stated live: "We will continue to monitor the results of our successful attack today; if we find the result satisfactory, we will consider the response to the assassination of Fuad Shukr complete."

This marks a significant retreat by Hezbollah following the Israeli preemptive strike this morning, as over the past weeks, reports indicated that the organization was considering a major attack against critical military and civilian infrastructure in Israel with hundreds or thousands of munitions, which appears to be a significant de-escalation by the terror organization.
