A wave of alarming text messages has swept across Israel, leaving many citizens shaken. The messages, which include the recipient's name and address, ominously warn that the individual "will be buried by next week."

Israeli authorities have quickly responded, asserting that these are malicious hoaxes designed to sow panic among the population during wartime.

"These are fake messages intended to cause panic among the public," a spokesperson for the Israel Police stated firmly. The police, in conjunction with the Israel National Cyber Directorate, are actively working to track down and block the source of these disturbing communications.

Law enforcement officials are urging citizens to remain calm and take the following actions:

- Do not reply to these messages
- Ignore them as intended misinformation
- If possible, block the sending number

The Israel Police emphasized the severity of the situation, stating they will "use all tools at [their] disposal to enforce the law." They noted that distributing such messages constitutes a criminal offense punishable by imprisonment, especially given the current wartime context.

Authorities are committed to dealing swiftly with any parties involved in this incitement campaign or attempts to spread panic among the Israeli public during these tense times.

As the investigation unfolds, citizens are advised to stay vigilant and report any suspicious messages to the appropriate authorities.
