Yasif Samara, 27, was critically injured from a drone strike and did not recover from his injuries. His family decided to donate his organs, resulting in six people being saved thanks to the donation.

Yasif Samara was injured last week during an attempt to intercept a drone by the Iron Dome system. He was hospitalized for several days in critical condition, and his death was confirmed last night. His family decided to donate his organs, thus saving many lives through his passing.

As a result of the Samara family's decision, six life-saving and transformative transplants were recently performed on six different patients: a heart to a 52-year-old at Beilinson, lungs to a 60-year-old at Beilinson, a liver to a 65-year-old at Ichilov, a kidney to a 7-month-old at Schneider, a kidney to a 46-year-old at Ichilov, and a liver to a 48-year-old at Beilinson. Yasif’s parents, Nasrat and Yana Samara, expressed their wishes, stating: "We wish a speedy recovery to the recipients and a life filled with joy and health."
