The Palestinian Authority is preparing to present a resolution at the UN General Assembly aimed at condemning Israeli settlements in Judea and Samaria, drawing from a recent International Court of Justice ruling in The Hague.

Israeli Hayom reports that Israeli diplomats have detected plans for this resolution, which is expected to be pushed during the UN General Assembly session in mid-September.

Although the draft of the resolution has not yet been revealed, it is anticipated to use the ICJ's recent decisions to challenge the legality of Israeli towns in the region.

While the General Assembly's resolutions are not legally binding, this move is seen as part of a broader strategy to further isolate Israel on the international stage and garner global support against the settlements.

Israeli officials suspect that the draft will soon be shared with the Arab League, aiming to endorse the ICJ's stance and intensify international pressure on Israel.
