Amidror, who previously served as Head of the National Security Council, addresses the current tension and the anticipation of a response from Iran and Hezbollah. He states that, in his opinion, the attack is unlikely to inflict significant damage on Israel.
Amidror notes, "We need to be prepared for a very significant blow from Iran. In April, we were far from dismantling Hamas in Gaza, and we must not take our eye off the primary mission we set for ourselves after the terrible event of October 7 – to destroy Hamas as a military organization."
In conclusion, Amidror said, "We must remember that we have perhaps the best defence systems in the world. They are not 100 percent effective, but the combination of the international coalition, the air force, and our defence systems ensures that it will be very difficult to cause substantial damage to the country."
