The Palestinian Maan News Agency reported today (Wednesday) that UNIFIL forces along the border of Israel and Lebanon are evacuating families of foreign staff for fear of their safety.

This decision was reportedly taken by UNIFIL headquarters in New York due to the escalating situation with Hezbollah and fears of a wider war. The report also noted that special movement restrictions are being taken to protect UNIFIL troops while still maintaining necessary patrols.
