Hezbollah Official Killed, Amr Badr Al-Din

Report: Senior Hezbollah official killed today in an air force attack in the village of Mafdun. 

The Saudi Al-Hadath reports that Amin Badr al-Din, a senior member of the Hezbollah was killed this morning.

The Saudi newspaper Al-Hadath reports today (Tuesday) that Ali Mustafa Shams al-Din, a senior member Hezbollah, was killed this morning in an air force attack in the village of Mafdun in the Al Nabatiya district.

Badr al-Din is the nephew of Mustafa Badr al-Din, who is considered to be the head of Hezbollah's military wing and is considered the successor of Imad Mughniyeh.

Badr al-Din was killed in a bomb explosion in Damascus in 2016. In addition, Badr al-Din was accused of planning and carrying out the assassination of former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik al-Hariri.
