With immediate effect:  Israelis in the Golan told to stay near shelters

The Golan Regional Council has instructed residents to remain in proximity to sheltered areas, limit gatherings, and reduce non-essential movement and activities, effective immediately and until further notice.

The Golan Regional Council has issued an urgent advisory to its residents, implementing new security measures in response to recent developments. The council has called for inhabitants to stay near protected spaces, minimize public gatherings, and curtail non-essential travel and activities within the immediate vicinity until a subsequent announcement is made.

The official statement specifies the following areas where residents are required to remain close to protected spaces with immediate effect:

- Sha'al

- Ortal

- Ein Zivan

- Merom Golan

- El Rom

- Kela Alon

- Trump Heights

- Odem

- Neve Ativ

- Nimrod

This directive follows a recent attack by Hezbollah in northern Israel, targeting the Nahariya area and Western Galilee. The incident resulted in injuries to two civilians, with one reported to be in critical condition.

Residents are advised to stay alert and follow all official instructions. Authorities continue to monitor developments closely and will provide updates as necessary.
