Amid rising tensions in the Middle East, officials from a US-led multinational coalition have reportedly cautioned Israel against a forceful response to an anticipated Iranian attack, according to a report by Kann news today (Tuesday).

Key developments:

- Coalition officials reportedly told Jerusalem: "Don't push it. Think carefully before you attack in return. The goal at the end of the day is not to lead to an all-out war."

- The coalition, which successfully foiled a massive Iranian drone and missile attack in April, may reassemble to assist Israel again.

- Iran has vowed to "punish" Israel for the alleged assassination of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran.

- US officials report observing Iranian military preparations, including moving missile launchers and conducting exercises.

- The US is repositioning military assets, including naval vessels, in anticipation of potential conflict.

Despite the preparations, US President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris were informed that the timing and specifics of a potential Iranian attack remain unclear. The White House stated that Biden and Harris were briefed on US military efforts to support Israel's defense and discussed de-escalation strategies, including a potential ceasefire-hostage release deal between Israel and Hamas.

Diplomatic efforts to mitigate tensions are intensifying. US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has engaged in discussions with various international counterparts, emphasizing the need for all parties to refrain from escalation. "We are engaged in intense diplomacy, pretty much around the clock, with a very simple message — all parties must refrain from escalation," Blinken stated during a press conference.

Meanwhile, Iran maintains that it does not seek to escalate regional tensions but believes action against Israel is necessary to prevent further instability. Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani stated, "Iran seeks to establish stability in the region, but this will only come with punishing the aggressor and creating deterrence against the adventurism of the Zionist regime."
