Lebanese Caretaker Foreign Minister Abdallah Bou Habib said at a press conference today (Tuesday) that the government was working to get Hezbollah to not respond so severely to the assassination of Hezbollah leader Fuad Shukr so as to spark a wider war, according to Naharnet.

Meanwhile, Hezbollah announced earlier today that its drone and projectile attacks on the western Galilee were in retaliation for the elimination of a Radwan force commander yesterday by the IDF.

Two people were wounded in the strike, one critically and one lightly to moderately.

In addition, a fire broke out in the Akko-Nahariyah area due to projectile landings. Israel Fire and Rescue Services have sent multiple teams to contain the blaze.
