Concerned about a potential Iranian attack and want to make sure you have all the necessary equipment in your shelter? Here are the Home Front Command’s recommendations for what you need in an emergency.

In recent days, fears and anxiety about a possible Iranian attack on Israel have soared, and many people are wondering what to keep in their shelter in case of a war that could require an extended stay in protected areas.

We’ve compiled the recommendations from the Home Front Command website on what to have in your protected space. You should stock:

- Water and food for all household members for at least three days

- Emergency lighting, a flashlight, and batteries

- A first aid kit

- Medications and printed prescriptions

- A radio and batteries

- Mobile phone chargers

- Special food according to family needs (for infants, elderly, pets)

Additional recommended emergency supplies include:

- Backup batteries for essential equipment, such as medical devices

- Copies of important documents like ID card, driver’s license, and passport

- A fire extinguisher and smoke detector

- At least half a tank of fuel in your car

- Activities for children, such as games, books, and writing materials

- Supplies needed for pets
