The IDF Spokesperson responded today (Monday) to a CNN analysis claiming to show that Hamas is rebuilding its forces at a much greater pace than previously assumed, effectively rebuilding half its battalions.

The statement reads: "Following up on the appeals of reporters on the subject of the investigation published on CNN, based on intelligence and findings in the field, most of the Hamas brigades were dismantled. The assessment is that most of the battalions are at a low level of readiness and can no longer function as a military unit."

The statement goes on to note that "the claims presented in the article miss the achievements of the (IDF) forces in the field, and create a false display of the state of Hamas in Gaza."

"IDF commanders and soldiers work day and night to achieve the goals of the war and are achieving unprecedented achievements in fighting against the Hamas terror organization," the statement ended.
