Following an earlier breach at the Be'er Sheva military base, protesters have now broken into the Beit Lid base, where detained soldiers are being held for investigation. This incident occurred despite earlier attempts to secure the area. The protesters managed to get past the base's gates and were dispersed by soldiers stationed there within minutes.

According to the police, "The protesters who entered the legal complex in Beit Lid and accessed the building's courtyard were dispersed quickly with the help of soldiers on site."

The authorities added, "We are taking decisive action along with efforts to calm the situation, but we will not tolerate attacks or risks to security forces. Any other reports are incorrect and misleading to the public."
