Defense Ministry employees sustained minor injuries after a bomb exploded along the West Bank security barrier in the Mount Gilboa area, military officials and medics reported.

An initial investigation indicates that the employees were on a patrol along the border fence in the northern West Bank when they discovered a suspicious item. Just after they realized that it was a bomb, it detonated, causing minor shrapnel injuries to the two workers.

The IDF has initiated a manhunt for the perpetrators responsible for the attack.
