Calf rescued from pit four meters deep | Watch

A calf was rescued from a four-meter-deep pit following complex efforts by Fire and Rescue Services. The calf is in good condition and has been returned to its owner.

A calf was rescued today (Monday) from a four meter deep pit in the area of Moshav Dalton north of Tzfat.

After identifying the trapped animal, Fire and Rescue Services worked for three hours to organize getting the calf out of its predicament safely and making sure it would not panic and harm itself.

Once rescued, the calf was examined and found to be in good condition and was returned to its owner.
