The bodies of Yitzhak Cohen, 37, an Israeli national, and his girlfriend Geneva Lopez, 27, were discovered this weekend in Capas, Tarlac Province, Philippines, ending a two-week search. The couple had been missing since June 21, with their burned-out SUV found shortly after their disappearance.

Cohen and Lopez were last seen heading to Tarlac for a real estate meeting. Personal belongings, including Lopez's ID, were found in the vehicle. Angeles City police had been reviewing CCTV footage as part of the investigation. The Israeli embassy in Manila is assisting with the transfer of Cohen's remains to Israel.

Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding their deaths.
