Drone launched from Iraq lands near Eilat

The drone was launched by pro-Iran Iraqi militias; the IDF said it never crossed into Israeli territory.

The IDF stated that a drone was identified headed to Israeli territory in the early hours of the morning (Wednesday).

The drone landed near the Eilat area and did not enter Israeli territory. The IDF launched an interceptor at it and did not activate a siren based on existing policy.

According to Kann 11 reporter Roi Kais, pro-Iranian Shiite militias in Iraq took responsibility for the drone launch.
