Prime Minister Netanyahu is set to meet soon with surviving members of Kibbutz Nir Oz, according to a report by N12 reporter Arad Nir.

Netanyahu reportedly decided on this move after receiving a letter from the surviving members of the October 7 massacre by Hamas, saying that "eight months after the abandonment, our kidnapped comrades are still awaiting rescue."

The letter written by members of the leftwing kibbutz also said that Netanyahu's presence there would not only show "basic respect" for the memory of those who were killed, but would also provide "hope and confidence" that their calls for help are not falling on deaf ears.

An exact date for this visit has not yet been announced.
