Hamas has launched a recruitment effort to try and make up for the 14,000 men killed during the war.

After losing some 14,000 men, Hamas is trying to launch a recruitment drive to get young men to join and replenish its ranks, so badly thinned in the fight against the IDF.

According to a report by Army Radio's Doron Kadosh, Hamas is appealing to 18-year olds to enlist. The IDF has identified efforts to train the Gazan youth in recent days.

According to the report, the defense establishment said that most of these recovery efforts are in areas where the IDF is not operating, and where the terror organization is trying to retake control of the civil administration, police, and distribution of humanitarian aid.

The IDF has thus shifted its efforts to eliminate members of Hamas' internal security and emergency forces, who aim to retake control of cities and neighborhoods the IDF has left behind.
