BREAKING: Paris court overturns ban on Israeli companies attending Eurosatory defense expo

The court ruled that the ban, initiated by the French government and then expanded by a lower court, is discriminatory and must stop.

The Paris Commercial Court overturned the decision to ban Israeli companies from the Eurosatory defense industry expo in France, according to an X post by Patrick Klugman, an attorney who sought to overturn the ban.

The French government had initially sought to exclude Israeli companies as a punishment for Israeli operations in Rafah, and a lower court expanded this order to ban all Israelis from attending the expo.

This led to a surfeit of criticism over what was claimed to be clear national discrimination, an assessment the Paris Commercial Court agrees with.
