After fighting in Rafah for four weeks, the IDF estimates that it has killed some 300 terrorists in the area around the southern city, according to a statement by Israeli government Spokesperson David Mencer a short time ago (Thursday).

The IDF continues to operate in Jebaliya, Rafah, and the central Gaza Strip, eliminating terrorists and seizing weapons caches.

Forces of the 162nd Division are active in Rafah. The Givati Brigade's combat team encountered three terrorists who fired at them. They then called down an air strike which eliminated the terrorists.

In Jebaliya, IDF forces were hit by missile attacks. They identified two terrorists leaving a structure identified as the launch site. The Air Force and the Gaza Division then called down an air strike and eliminated the terrorists.

In addition, over the last 24 hours, the Air Force struck over 50 targets.
