The IDF announced today (Wednesday) that it has achieved "operational" control of the entire Philadephi corridor along the Gaza-Egypt border, effectively cutting Hamas off from resupply via Egypt.

According to Times of Israel reporter Emanuel Fabian, the IDF physically occupies most of the corridor, and says that it controls a small slice of the corridor along the coast with surveillance and firepower.

The IDF reportedly located some 20 tunnels running from Egypt into the Gaza Strip, some of which the IDF knew about, and some of which it now knows about for the first time. It also located some 80 or more tunnel shafts along the route.
