Opposition leaders meet, expect Gantz to join them

Following Avigdor Liberman's call to form a "war room" to bring down the government, Liberman, Lapid, and Sa'ar met to form a plan to do so and called on Gantz to join them.

Opposition Leader Yair Lapid, Yisrael Beytenu Chairman Avigdor Liberman, and New Right leader Gideon Sa'ar met a short time ago (Wednesday) to discuss a plan of action to bring down the government. They also declared that they expected Gantz to leave the government and join their Forum for Replacing the Government.

This meeting came after Liberman appealed to the two during a press conference at the Knesset last Monday: "Let's set up a shared war room in order to be able to bring down this government and establish another government - perhaps even in this Knesset - or alternatively bring about early elections."

The Yisrael Beytenu chairman also called on Likud members who he says agree with his assessment to join the joint war room.
