During construction works in a prison in southern Israel, a civilian contractor reportedly pressed himself to one of the prison wardens securing the area. The man also reportedly verbally assaulted her as well as another warden.

The contractor was detained by the unit, handed over to the Israel Police for questioning, and eventually arrested.

The Israeli Prison Service stated: "The prison service operates with zero tolerance against any gender-based harm to female and male prison operators carrying out their duties as public servants."
