After the extensive crisis between Israel and the US, it was reported that the arms shipment that was delayed by US President Biden has now landed in Israel.

The shipment of weapons that was delayed by the US at the beginning of the month following the Biden administration's opposition to the operation in Rafah has landed in Israel. This was reported this evening (Thursday) on Kan News.

According to the report, the Americans transferred the weapons after Israel undertook to inform the US in advance before expanding the ground maneuver in Rafah.

As a reminder, last week it was reported that the Biden administration decided to suspend the delivery of weapons to Israel, which included 1,800 one-ton bombs for fighter jets and 1,700 250 kg bombs. The move was carried out due to concern of a worsening humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

The delay in the shipment led to a widespread crisis between Israel and the US, which culminated when President Biden threatened not to send bombs and artillery to Israel if Prime Minister Netanyahu ordered a major invasion of Rafah. Despite this, last night the US administration informed Congress that it would approve aid to Israel worth of about a billion dollars, which will include ammunition for tanks, tactical vehicles, and shells.
