The IDF Spokesperson stated this evening (Thursday) that three soldiers were moderately wounded by a booby-trapped tunnel in the Rafah area. They were evacuated to the hospital and their families have been updated.

Having secured the Gazan side of the Egypt-Gaza border, forces of the 401st Brigade's combat team under the 162nd Division have launched another nighttime series of targeted raids in the Rafah area.

The soldiers eliminated some 30 terrorists and raided buildings suspected to house terrorists firing on the soldiers.
